The Peninsula Garden Club's next meeting will be Monday, May 13th at 7pm at the Mary Winspear Centre in Sidney. The speaker for the evening will be Jeff de Jong, a knowledgeable, entertaining, expert, local horticulturalist who will be speaking on the 30 best Perennials for Victoria Gardens. Jeff has been teaching in the field of horticulture ever since he graduated from Olds College in the Landscape Management Program. Jeff has worked as the Head of Horticulture Programming for the Calgary and an instructor at Olds College teaching classes in the Landscape Design Program. 

Jeff is also a garden writer, photographer and watercolor artist. He has a love for travelling and leading garden tours to exciting places around the world. Jeff has continued to teach at many Horticultural Institutions on the Island as well as a host of Garden Clubs and Seedy Saturdays. He has been the host of Gardening 101 on C-FAX 1070 AM.

Everyone welcome, drop in fee $5.  Refreshments ($2 gets you coffee and a treat!), Parlour Show, Plant Stall, Library and Raffle.
