Back for its second year The Folk'nFiddle Festival features world leaders in Americana, Roma-Swing, Bluegrass, Singer-Songwriter, Celtic and Cuban Music presented at The Charlie White Theatre and The Sidney Army/Navy.

Pablo Cardenas career began teaching Piano at the Conservatory in Matanzas, Cuba with great results, some of his students are now some of the best young pianists in Cuba. At the same time he was working as an accompanist doing chamber music and was selected by the school to travel to Dominican Republic to teach workshops and perform at Santo Domingo National Conservatory of Music. https://pablocardenaspiano.wordpress.com/

Ashley Wey is a multi-award-winning Canadian singer-songwriter and pianist who’s genre-bending style melding alternative folk, pop, and jazz has seen her work with Canadian Idol winner Eva Avila, Juno Award-winners Brandi Distrehaft, Mae Moore, The Parachute Club and four-time Grammy Award winner, Manny Kellough. https://www.ashleyweymusic.com/

Jenny Lester is a dynamic Canadian Bluegrass performer and recording artist who has established herself as an important singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Her original songs are carefully crafted in the bluegrass convention while at the same time displaying a contemporary freshness and vitality that breathes new life into the fabled "high lonesome" sound. http://jennylester.com/

Ivonne Hernandez started playing violin at the age of three by ear, everything from her mother’s favorite Maritime reels to her father’s Chilean folk music roots. Since then she has had a long and illustrious career winning two Western Canadian Music Awards, two Canadian Folk Music Awards, a 2017 Juno award and five Grand North American Fiddle Championships. https://www.ivonnehernandez.com/

Glenna Garramone is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist equally at home as a solo artist and in collaboration with a wide range of performers.  Highlights include mainstage performances at Telluride Bluegrass Festival, the Vancouver Folk Festival, and Rifflandia, as a member of the band Shane Koyczan and the Short Story Long (on keyboard and vocals), with whom she co-wrote for their most recent album, Debris (featuring guest Ani DiFranco). https://glennagarramone.com/
