Canadian music legend Barney Bentall, best known as the frontman of Barney Bentall and the Legendary Hearts, brings his storied career to the stage in a powerful new solo performance. Blending songs, heartfelt stories from the ranch and road, and captivating visuals, this intimate show offers a rare glimpse into the life of one of Canada’s most celebrated singer-songwriters.

Barney has been nominated multiple times for Juno Awards and earned a Juno with his band The Legendary Hearts for Most Promising Group of the Year. He has also been nominated for several Canadian Folk Music Awards and won for Vocal Group of the Year with The High Bar Gang. Barney is perhaps best known to Sidney audiences for his many multiple night appearances at The Charlie White Theatre with The Cariboo Express, his multi artist revue that helped raise over 7 million dollars for many charities across western Canada.

People often ask if I am going to write a book about my life. Well… this performance is my attempt to tell the story. To tell it in a way that works for me.

Through the spoken word, through my songs and with lots of visuals…. the beautiful landscapes of life on the ranch along with scenes taken from a life lived on stage, backstage, on the road and in front of a microphone.
