Waves: Harnessing the Power

CFUW BC COUNCIL Annual Conference, Waves: Harnessing the Power, is inviting members of the public to register for specific events at the conference. There are two packages available to members of the public.

A- Keynote Speaker and Buffet Lunch
Saturday April 18th, 2015 - 12-2:00 pm Cost: $35.00
The first option is registering for a buffet luncheon during which Dr. Kate Moran, the conference Keynote Speaker, will address us on the topic: “Discover the Ocean: Understand the Planet through the Internet-connected Ocean”. She is a world renowned ocean engineer, President Ocean Networks Canada and a former Science Adviser to the US White House.

B- Keynote Speaker, Buffet Lunch, Two Workshop Sessions & Coffee Break Saturday April 18th, 2015 - 12-4:30 pm Cost: $50.00
The second option is registering for the buffet luncheon during which Dr. Kate Moran will speak as well as participating in 2 different workshops that same afternoon (workshops subject to availability – see details on website). The Workshop session, Brain Waves: Brain Health and Brain Repair, has availability in both time slots, however, some of the other workshops are limited due to room capacity.
