The IGNITE Photography Workshops
If you're an emerging photographer or an established pro - this workshop is for YOU! For the first time in almost 4 years - the Ignite Workshops are coming back to Vancouver Island!
The IGNITE Sessions are not-for-profit photography workshops sponsored by the Professional Photographers of Canada. Featuring 7 speakers, including keynote speaker (Kate Sioban Mulligan!) and offering two programs: one for emerging photographers and one for established professionals.
1) IGNITE Workshops were created to guide emerging photographers towards success. Master photographers, committed to making a difference in the photographic industry, volunteer their time to lead educational programs. Programs that refresh fundamental skills, reveal industry standards, and discuss sales and social media strategies, leaving local photographers with a sense of confidence and direction in their business.
2) RE-IGNITE Workshops are designed especially for established professional photographers. Join other professionals to exchange business ideas, review pricing, marketing, and social media strategies, brush up on important techniques, and re-ignite your creativity and productivity.
Included in your Workshop is the Keynote Presentation, Sunday 3pm:
Kate Siobhan Mulligan, “The Creative Passport”
Travel photographer and entertaining educator Kate Siobhan Mulligan dives into the world of photography while traveling, including setting yourself up for success, the creative process on the fly, the art of noticing, composing, respectful and meaningful portraiture, getting past language barriers, street photography and "the decisive moment." Kate will also discuss the concept of storytelling in a single image, and cohesion between multiple images. For novice or pros alike, this talk is going to be overflowing with strategy, tangible insights, and inspiration.
